A quick and delicious skillet dish with shrimp, broccoli, and rich garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • A squeeze of lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and stir. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender yet crisp.
  5. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water or chicken broth.
